Blessing Bag Ministry
The Blessing Bag Ministry at Temple Baptist Church provides critical, immediate aid to local individuals experiencing homelessness and economic hardship. This hands-on outreach initiative mobilizes the congregation to assemble and distribute portable care packages filled with essential hygiene items, non-perishable snacks, and seasonal necessities. Designed to be kept in vehicles or carried by church members, these blessing bags empower the community to meet urgent physical needs directly on the street while sharing a message of care, dignity, and hope.
Anchor Church Breakfast Partnership
You belong even if you have no place to stay. The Anchor is a gathering people from all walks of life (unhoused and housed, rich and poor, young and old, skeptics and believers, and everyone in between) for community and worship. We partnered with them to serve the needs in this community and provide support for the ministry by providing food every month to those that attend and continue to fight the food insecurity in downtown Wilmington.
